About Julia
Hi there! I'm Julia. I'm a bilingual English speaker, and I'm here to help you stop overthinking and start speaking English naturally.
I know exactly how frustrating it can be to have all the words in your head but freeze when it’s time to speak. That’s why my sessions are 100% focused on real, everyday conversations in a relaxed, zero-judgement atmosphere. Think of it as chatting with a supportive friend who gently guides you and helps you polish your language skills.
My Story: Why I Believe in Learning Through Conversation
I didn't learn English by staring at boring grammar books – I learnt it by speaking, and that is exactly what I want to teach you.
English has been a natural part of my life since childhood, and my entire language journey was based on real-life communication:
• "American Summer" Camps: As a kid, I participated in multiple summer camps focused entirely on learning English through games, activities, and non-stop communication with native speakers.
• Unique Cultural Experiences: I even learnt English through interactive games and chats with Amish communities. As a child, this taught me how to communicate when you don't know all the words yet – how to find a way to express yourself, experiment, and give yourself the grace to make mistakes. It’s the perfect playground for breaking the language barrier!
• International Hosting: My family has hosted exchange students and guests from the USA, Germany, and Norway, making English a natural language in my home environment.
• Real-World Experience & Global Accents: Today, I work full-time on the authorisation line for an American bank. I spend 8 hours every day handling fast-paced, authorisation-related conversations in English. My job is all about quick problem-solving and finding clear communication solutions for clients from North America and Europe. This intense experience, combined with my passion for frequent travelling, has trained my ears to instantly adapt to all kinds of challenging global accents. No matter how tough the situation or the accent, I always find a way to communicate smoothly!
I am living proof that conversation is the fastest way to master a language, and that anything is possible if you set your mind to it!
