About Ranya
Certified Spanish Teacher with two years of teaching experience in Volusia County public schools. I got my Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from the University of Languages in Egypt. I speak Spanish, English and Arabic. Now I am teaching Spanish in a public school for 30 students in each class. My goal is to teach the language in a fun, entertaining and informative way. I am a middle school certified Spanish Teacher with a Bachelor's Degree. I start teaching new lessons with a list of the new vocab. in Spanish and English. I say the words aloud in Spanish and the students repeat after me; I sometimes use pictures from the textbook to help the students remember the meaning of the words.I use Power Point to teach the grammar part of the lesson using songs and rhymes. I let the students read conversations from the textbook and share with the class what they understood. Then students watch and listen to the conversations from the online book with English subtitles to understand the details. Lastly, the students answer activities to practice what they have learned.
