About Barbara
Hello, my name is Barbara. I am a native Spanish speaker, thanks to my father being Uruguayan, and I have lived in the UK since I was a small child, so I am also fluent in English. I love the Spanish language and want to pass on this passion to my students. I am currently studying for a PGCE, which is helping me discover how learners learn best and understand how to teach Spanish effectively. I teach children aged 11-16, either starting from 0 or with some knowledge all the way through being able to listen, speak, write and read Spanish. I also offer classes for adults who are just beginning or want to improve their Spanish.
