About Niva
My journey with Spanish began out of fascination for how language connects people across borders. Over the last eight years, I’ve worked with international students from diverse backgrounds—each bringing their own motivation, culture, and curiosity to the classroom. Watching them grow from shy beginners to confident communicators is what makes teaching Spanish so fulfilling. I believe in a relaxed, motivating environment where students feel comfortable experimenting with language. My approach is global and flexible, focusing on real communication rather than memorization. I emphasize cultural context as much as linguistic accuracy, helping learners understand how language reflects emotion and identity. Whether through films, discussions, or role-play, every lesson is alive with interaction and meaning. Outside teaching, I explore Hispanic literature and music, constantly learning more about the cultures that give Spanish its richness. Teaching Spanish is my way of connecting cultures—showing how one language can open doors to empathy, opportunity, and adventure.
