About Joana
I have always been in love with languages. I enjoy teaching and studying them. Languages open the door to a culture, and to its unique way of thinking and seeing the world.
I am from Argentina and have been studying and teaching languages for over fifteen years. I have experience teaching online to a wide variety of students. I teach all levels of Spanish and to all ages. I can adapt to the student's needs, be it practicing speaking, getting ready for an exam, a trip or even studying its structure and grammar intensely.

I am a native Spanish speaker with wide experience teaching online. I am a Spanish-English-Spanish translator, which gives me the tools to succesfully communicate in both languages and, what's more important, to understand how they work in a throughful way. This indepth knowledge allows me to approach Spanish from an analytic perspective that is key when it comes to teaching it. This means that my classes are not only a speaking practice, but a thoughtful experience where the student can choose to focus on the skills they want to improve, acquiring the necessary instruments to achieve their goals.
Teaching is a two-sided road, and that's why I always make sure to make it fun and enjoyable, where both teacher and student can learn from each other.
