I am pursuing my Bachelors of Science in psychology while minoring in studio arts. I have tutored middle school students for 2 years and elementary students for a year. I've helped boost the student's confidence whether that be for an essay or vocabulary quiz.

I typically work with students one on one or in small groups of 2-3. I base my teachings off of Vygotsky's zone of proximal development in which I don't challenge students too much nor do I simply give them the answer. It's a balance of having them spit ball ideas and come to the conclusions on their own while providing some guidance if needed.
