About Salar
Hi, my name is Salar Khan, and I'm an incoming sophomore at Monte Vista High School. This fall, I’ll be taking Honors Pre-Calculus and AP Chemistry. I’m passionate about helping others and would love to support students who may be struggling with Algebra 2 or below, as well as Biology and Chemistry. I know from experience how frustrating tutoring can feel, growing up, I was often signed up for sessions I didn’t enjoy or find helpful. That’s why I strive to make my tutoring sessions fun, engaging, and actually useful. My goal is to make learning less stressful and more empowering for every student I work with.

I typically work with students one-on-one and give them my full attention to understand where they stand with the subject. I start by asking them where they’re struggling, then tailor my approach to meet their specific needs. My lesson plans are flexible and adapt to each student’s learning style and challenges. Usually, we focus on the topics they need the most help with, and I also like to introduce a bit of what’s coming next to help them stay ahead.
