I am a college student studying to become and elementary school teacher. I am 20 years old and have been working with children volunteering and paid for 8 years. I have worked in before and after school programs as well as taught lessons as a teachers assistant.

I take the individual needs of a student and will start from where they are at and continue to work with them. I usually prompt students to solve problems on their own and give advice along the way that will help them come to a solution. I give lots of feedback along the way and ask student questions to ensure their understanding of the given topic.
