About Scarlet
Hello!!!
My name is Scarlet and I'm 19 years old. I'm a young, creative, and extroverted student in the NYU film school at the Tisch School of the Arts. I love telling stories, I love writing, and I love helping others. Most importantly, I love a really good essay.
In the last year, I have worked with two students' Common App and supplemental essays. They both got accepted into their dream school: the Auburn College of Architecture and the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

About the lesson

College application essay help over the summer for soon-to-be high school seniors.
I specialize in Common App essays but can help with supplemental essays if needed.
Hourly or 30 minute Zoom call appointments.
You set the appointment dates, but I recommend that we meet once every two weeks. I understand that it's summer, so I want to give each student adequate time to work on drafts little by little.
Before each lesson, please share 1) the prompt and 2) any drafts or completed work. I would like to have notes and comments prepared before each meeting.
Each meeting would consist of exercises to get the ball rolling. For the first couple lessons, I want to work with the student to determine what personal themes or topics would make for a good Common App essay, and then work towards preliminary and eventually final drafts of that essay.
