About Nurnissa
Hey there!
My name is Nurnissa, but please call me NISSA. I’m a 24 years old full time mom and student pursuing a sonography degree. I started my academy journey to be an engineering. When I got pregnant with my baby, I figured engineering is not a good fit for, so I switched my major to Mathematics. It was the best decision I ever dI’d and graduated with an associate in math.
I took two years off school to focus of my little family and figuring out what I want to do with my life. Then, I decided I wanted to be a sonographer because why not right? Life is boring if you don’t try things. So what if you don’t like it? At least you tried. That’s what math is all about. If you don’t get it the first time, I’m positive you will get it on your 100th time or less! At least you try.
In life, the more you do something, the more you find yourself to like it then love it. That’s what I’m trying to imply of math. People say this subject is scary, but I think it is terrifyingly weird and fun. It’s like a word search game.
Anyway, here I am a stay at home mom and a full time student doing healthcare degree while being absolutely going with the flow of life in hopes that learning math is not scary for you. Taking the steps to find someone to help is already the greatest achievement anyone has done! Hooray for you!

I approach mathematics by asking why am I doing this because learning a method because it says so does not actually allow you to understand and learn. Knowing the objective and the reason why mathematics is the way it is is key to loving mathematics.
I can teach almost all level of mathematics from basic kindergartens maths to college calculus level. Hence I am your tutor for any goal you have!
My lessons are at least 30 minutes to 1 hour and a half. It will never last longer because I know what it feels like to be burnt out from learning one thing.
What sets me apart from others? Im teaching math so others can see how math is all fun and numbers not just another homework.
