About Natalie
I'm a college graduate with a degree in songwriting, and have released music and participated in sync projects for music specifically intended for TV/film. For vocal background, I have taught students of various levels privately and through music schools, prioritizing understanding the anatomy of the body and how every creative and physical aspect works together to create your personal sound.

My approach as a tutor is to consider the musician's end goal or hope for their career, and then work backwards to implement achievable, reasonable steps to have them achieve their goals! For commercial songwriting, I focus on the marriage of lyric and melody, prioritizing creative flow in the moment and later making revisions in the interest of the craft. For singing, I first root the student in the main three elements of the body working together to produce your best sound, and build on techniques from there. I largely have experience from a pop, rock, and musical theater background.
