About Nadia
I'm currently a Software Engineer with a great passion for chess, computer science and mathematics. I have helped students gain scholarships, excel in GCSEs and move up 3+ grades. With a First Class Honours in Computer Science at the University of Warwick, alongside achieving A* in Further Maths, Maths and Computer Science in my A-Levels and GCSE, I have also played chess internationally for England and have been tutoring for over 7 years. I enjoy helping others and love to share my enthusiasm for these subjects. My key goal is to ensure students understand what they are learning, and help spark their interest.

Lesson times can vary depending on the student's needs, they are typically 1 hour but can be 30min, 45min, 2 hours, etc. Lessons are designed based on the level the student is at and what they are studying for. For example, Mathematics and Computer Science lessons typically cover 2 types of lessons:
1. Theory
These lessons involve going through topics and use cases to strengthen the student's understanding of material and resolve any gaps in knowledge.
2. Practical
These lessons focus on going through exam level questions together to test their understanding of the topic. For Computer Science, these involve programming sessions where we tackle problem solving tasks and work through how to write code.
If you're interested in chess lessons, we will first establish the areas that require work and focus on them. Lessons include tactic strategies, opening theory, tournament preparation and techniques such as how to effectively analyse your games.
