Christo is a respected member of our tutor community. He is highly recommended for his commitment and the quality of his lessons. An excellent choice to progress with confidence.
About Christo
Most of my programming knowledge is self-taught, so I know the struggles and frustration of what it takes to become a software developer.
I have 3 kids of my own, 2 did well in CAT and IT and 1 is a developer in his own right today .
I have a teaching diploma and we homeschooled our kids.
I would enjoy seeing you with an IT degree some day and know I played a part in it.
Even my wife is Computer Literate today through my teaching and patience.
After 25 years in the corporate world of software development I am ready to pursue my reason for qualifying as a teacher originally: lets grow together.

I am proficient in Afrikaans and English.
I start with finding the level you are on and then challenge you upwards to greater heights than what is needed to pass in school. I prepare you to succeed in the real world as well.
A typical lesson initially will be to assess your progress, identify gaps, answer your questions and complete your understanding.

Christo helped me tremendously with a very complex issue. He approached the problem from different angles ensuring that I understood the basics and the root cause of my problem.
I was a grade 8 student, not grasping the basics of maths or computers. Christo brought me to Matric Bachelor's pass with a distinction in Computer Applications Technology. He has great teaching methods and is dedicated and motivational.
Christo meets every individuals specific way of learning and understanding, by explaining problems in many different ways. Anyone, young and old will benefit from his teaching style. He goes the extra mile to make sure the student understands and gives extra practice in the areas needed to make sure the student understands. He has helped me a great deal to understand and work on computers, various computer programs and even developing a website.
