About Alyssa
I am both a history/social studies teacher and archaeologist. I have been teaching for two years. I have taught students ranging from college to middle school with subjects ranging from US History, World History, Geography, and AP US History. I have Bachelors degrees in Anthropology and History and Masters degrees in Archaeology and Education.

My approach as a teacher is to have high expectations and believe that every student can be successful and has the ability to learn. I want to engage my students, have a positive working environment, and be adaptable because every student learns differently. I love to get to know my students and l take a personal interest in their success. I want to make history more exciting and tangible for students by making it relatable.
