I’m currently studying Arts & Humanities with English Literature with the Open University, as well as working as a Teaching Assistant at a secondary school. I’ve never been a private tutor, but with my experience in school, I really think that I could help!

The great thing about English, and one of the reasons why I love the subject so much, is that a lot of it boils down to how you feel, your opinions. It’s an outlet to put your ideas across. As for the rest? Trial and error... everything can’t be perfect, and it’s all about growth. Taking time to understand things instead of looking at sets of modules, and ticking boxes. For me, it’s so important that the students grow a genuine love for the subject, because enjoying something makes it far easier to understand.
