I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Smith College with a B.A. in Psychology and Dance. I have extensive experience with writing, conducting research in the arts, social sciences, and natural sciences, as well as extensive experience in media/film production. My approach to tutoring involves assessing what the student already knows on the subject, what they are struggling with, or what they are looking to improve upon, and working from a place of inquiry in order to strengthen the student's writing, research, or scientific skills. The first step is to build the student's confidence in their ability to complete their work well. This is done by setting the student up with the appropriate basic tools needed for academic success.
