About Justice

If I feel my student needs emotional support, I'm always open to hearing them out. I don't ignore a student who looks distressed and wait for things to settle down on their own. I have good communication skills which include it all – speech, clarity, use of appreciation, gestures, etc.

  • When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

I developed an interest in teaching maths from my days in junior secondary school. I helped my classmates attain good grades and also my junior students in the jet club. We were invisible in a most maths competitions.
  • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I love teaching algebra the most. I like statistics a little less.
  • Did you have any role models; or a teacher that inspired you?

I am inspired by my friend who was at the time, one of the best mathematicians in town with lots of awards to speak for it.
  • What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

To be a good teacher, one has to understand the type of student they're teaching and this is because different students learn differently. They have kinesthetic learners, visual learners, etc. A good teacher needs to be flexible. A good teacher makes sure the students are following and understanding the topic by using methods that best suit the student.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

    In multiples of 9
The answer from 9×1 to 9×10 are the same when you flip the place value of the numbers
  • What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

The difficulty I faced in maths was in proving laws in geometry.
  • Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

I have a passion for teaching. It's something love doing. I teach wherever i find myself.its a part of me.
  • What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P) ?

I am a superprof because i have been tested and trusted for my ability to break down maths to its simplest way. My ability to break down things is not to be overemphasized. it's top-notch.
