About Kael
With 11 years of piano teaching experience and nearly 300 students trained, I provide lessons that are structured, personalised, and motivating for high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching philosophy emphasises discipline, consistency, and expressive performance, focusing on posture, hand coordination, finger independence, scales, chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, sight-reading, and interpretation.
I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals, abilities, and learning style, balancing technical exercises, theory, and repertoire practice. I also provide guidance for efficient home practice to help students achieve steady progress. Many of my students have performed confidently in recitals, school concerts, and competitions, while others have earned high distinctions in graded music examinations.
I aim to create a supportive, inspiring, and engaging environment where students feel motivated, confident, and empowered to reach their full potential as pianists while developing a lifelong appreciation for music.

My piano teaching philosophy focuses on creating confident learners through adaptation, flexibility, collaboration, and encouragement. I design lessons that match each student’s pace and preferred learning method. I prioritise essential skills such as proper posture, finger strength, rhythm control, and expressive interpretation.
Complex pieces are divided into manageable sections to make progress steady and clear. Flexibility ensures that lessons are adjusted whenever needed. Collaboration allows students to feel responsible for their musical journey, increasing motivation and accountability.
I maintain a positive classroom atmosphere where effort is valued and improvement is celebrated. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, ear training, sight-reading, and music appreciation to build well-rounded musicians.
