About Hugo
I am a piano teacher with an Associate of Music in Piano Skills and over 6 years of experience. I specialize in helping students prepare for worship leading, theater accompaniment, and wedding band performance. My teaching approach is personalized and motivating. I assess each student’s goals and design lessons accordingly. Lessons balance technical skill development with musical creativity. Sight-reading, improvisation, and chord patterns are emphasized. I work with students to build ensemble and collaborative skills. Students learn to accompany vocalists and instrumentalists effectively. Rhythm, dynamics, and phrasing are practiced regularly. Practical music theory is applied directly to performance. Performance preparation is included in each lesson. Lessons are flexible yet structured. I provide clear guidance and encouragement.
