About Jamie
Holding Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I provide a structured and professional approach to guitar instruction, combining academic rigor with practical experience. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals, learning style, and pace, ensuring steady progress and engagement. I emphasize expressive playing, performance readiness, and musical confidence, helping students communicate through their instrument. Ear training, sight-reading, and improvisation are included to develop well-rounded musicianship. I explore multiple genres, from classical and jazz to rock, blues, and contemporary styles, broadening students’ musical vocabulary. I provide structured practice routines, constructive feedback, and strategies for overcoming challenges. My teaching balances discipline, technical skill, and artistic freedom.
