About Tijesunimi Peter
I am a passionate science and mathematics teacher with 8 years of professional teaching experience. With a strong background in mathematics and physics and a proven track record of delivering engaging lessons, I am confident in my ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
I'm a registered member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), and also licensed to the academic body. I am also QTS (Qualified Teachers Status) certified with Teacher Reference Number under the DfE (Department for Education) UK.
My love for science stems from its ability to solve real-world problems which is strongly backed by my knowledge of physics concepts which helps to make sense of the world around us. I believe that science should be accessible, enjoyable, and challenging for all students. My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, where students feel encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and explore mathematical concepts.
Over the years of experience as a science teacher specifically in Physics, I have been able to use appropriate strategies to ensure students progress well and facilitate learning , making use of a structured teaching methodologies or strategies to help students learn at a healthy pace, and also to help the upcoming students not to be left out resulting from students' individual differences. I have demystified students' learning differences, competence and environment which helps in proffering solutions to the hitches.
