About Theo
I have done charity work in the Polish community here in Cornwall for 10+ years and have taught many to learn English at beginner to advanced levels. I love teaching both young and old students in small groups or individually. I am learning Polish myself, and this gives me a good understanding and deep appreciation for those learning English as a second language and the many difficulties that can arise.

I base my classes on the needs of the individual and for this reason, prefer to work in smaller groups. I would normally have an initial informal lesson with a student or group to find out their learning goals and develop the lessons from there whether that be in the direction of more formal grammar or informal everyday speech and idioms. I encourage students not to criticise themselves and reassure them that no question is too silly to ask and that making mistakes is part of the learning process.
