About Indie
I am a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience, specializing in teaching college students. My approach combines strong vocal technique with creative expression. I help students improve breath control, pitch, vocal tone, and range while guiding them to connect emotionally with the music.
My lessons are interactive and practical. I use methods like vocal improvisation, recording sessions, and real-song analysis to make learning enjoyable and effective. Each lesson is customized to match the student’s style, pace, and goals.
Performance skills are a key focus. I guide students in stage presence, confidence, and expressive delivery for recitals, auditions, and competitions. Music theory and ear training are also integrated to strengthen musical understanding.
I encourage students to explore different genres and develop their unique style. Over the 10 years, I have helped students perform successfully while fostering a love for singing.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, creativity, and accountability. I aim to make every lesson inspiring, motivating, and productive, helping students grow into confident and expressive singers.
