About Pooja
Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I am currently training to become a skilled professor in the field of Accounting and Finance. As part of my development, I work as an Assistant Professor under the guidance and mentorship of my university professor, supporting teaching activities, assisting students, and gaining practical experience in academic instruction. This opportunity has strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt my teaching style to different learning needs.
With my MBA in Banking & Finance (Distinction), ACCA journey, and professional experience in accounting and banking, I aim to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application. My goal is to make learning engaging, build students’ confidence, and help them achieve their academic and career goals.
I believe that a great teacher is someone who continuously learns and improves, and through tutoring, I hope to further develop my teaching expertise while making a meaningful impact on my students’ learning journey.

My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their subjects. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching methods according to their individual learning style, goals, and academic level.
For Accounting, Finance, and Business Studies, I combine clear explanations of concepts with real-world examples from my professional experience in accounting, banking, and financial operations. I simplify complex topics, use practical examples, and provide regular exercises, case studies, and exam-focused questions to strengthen understanding and improve problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, beginning with a review of previous concepts, followed by a structured explanation of new topics, guided practice, and time for questions and feedback. I also help students develop effective study techniques and exam strategies.
I hold an MBA in Banking & Finance with Distinction and was awarded a Silver Medal for ranking among the top students in my cohort at the University of the West of Scotland. I am also an ACCA Candidate (with five paper exemptions) and have professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, customer banking services, and compliance.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE, A-Level, undergraduate university students, and adult learners who require support in Accounting, Finance, and Business Studies. Whether students need help understanding fundamentals, improving grades, or preparing for examinations, I aim to make learning engaging, practical, and easy to understand
