About Shivangi
I am an IT student in Griffith University. Maths had always been my favourite subject. I am not a professional tutor yet but I have taught many children from my neighbours or at home and they all have done well. I make sure that the students study in a positive environment and with a great interest. My aim is make them understand the concept and not just to force them to mug up everything.

I passed my high school from India and I am here for my post graduation In IT Management. While teaching, I prefer deciding the clear lesson goals that me and my students have to achieve today in order to make sure that everything goes in a systematic way and we miss nothing. In my class, students will be shown the ways and methods of solving their questions and also there will be a small test everyday at the end of the class just to make sure that they have understood the lesson. Discussing a graphical summary like flow charts etc. is a fantastic way to finish off my show and tell. I ensure that my students are practising the right things as practise makes the man perfect. Once a month, students are given a form to fill on which they would be giving their honest feedback in order to improve the lessons. They will be group work as well if there is a group lesson. I believe in teaching strategies and not just the content.
