About Lumi
With over 4 years of teaching experience and a Graduate Certificate in French-English Translation, I teach French through the lens of environmental awareness. My passion for sustainability deeply influences how I structure lessons. I integrate topics such as climate change, ecological responsibility, and sustainable living into the curriculum. Students learn vocabulary through discussions about real issues and global perspectives. I use resources from Francophone environmental movements, including videos, news, and music. My goal is to help learners connect language with meaning and action. I’ve worked with conservation professionals, students, and curious global citizens. Each lesson strengthens not only linguistic skill but also cross-cultural understanding. We build confidence in reading, writing, and speaking through authentic conversation.
