About Jordyn
I am a legitimate tutor who has been helping peers improve in English Language Arts for about a year. This is my first year of providing online tutoring lessons and I could not be more excited in doing so. I am considered to be gifted in ELA and have always been able to figure out topics that seem complex to other people. English Language Arts comes simply to me. After all, I do have a beyond-gifted score in state testing and other forms of testing such as diagnostics. I love to help others improve in this topic. I am confident in my position as a tutor and I always be confident in my role, for I have helped students get their scores up from a D to an A in English classes.

I’m Jordyn, a seventh-grade gifted student who has spent my entire life being dedicated to English Language Arts! I specialize in ELA, specifically with things such as: literary, reading comprehension, writing skills, spelling and grammar, English literature, etc. I teach to peers of all levels. I mainly focus on those who struggle with the topics just described so that I can help them improve their comprehension of English Language Arts. A typical lesson plan for me is entirely virtual and for free. I do not want any money for what I do! I mainly use interactive learning. I focus on the students own interests and what they want to focus on, although I will provide them with worksheets and ‘tests’, if you will, through online means. I will guide students through tricky topics and help them understand more. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I focus on my own students interests and not what I want them to focus on. I will focus on whatever they believe they need to focus on, and I will never steer away from what they believe they need to focus on. I make subjects that may seem complex simple by providing real-world examples and going into depth about the topics we are discussing.
