Seventeen years of dance experience at a preprofessional level, in many genres. Five years of experience teaching dance. I have taught all levels and all ages! I love making dance fun and engaging!

About Journi
I started dancing at age three, but I started training on a preprofessional level at age ten. I have taught many different genres to students between 3 and 23. I have gone off to college now, but I have continued my passion for dance. I am currently of the executive board of a student led dance organization on my campus. I also served as my dance company captain for two consecutive years while in high school. I was in charge of leading warmups, choreographing dances, and making sure any issues were solved concisely and fair to everyone involved. I have loved dance my whole life, but nothing makes me happier than seeing my students fall in love with dance the same way I did.

My lessons are centered around interactive learning. Dance can seem boring to many, but my main goal is to make sure enjoy yourself while learning proper technique and terms! My lessons could be for anyone interested in a new hobby or those that want to take dance seriously. I enjoy dance in all aspects but I understand many don't have that same feeling and I want my lessons to be enjoyable for all!
