About Hali
I’ve been writing songs as long as I can remember, and have very practical use of music theory under my belt. I have a very English/Literature based background, which gives me a wide range of literary devices that can be used in lyrical construction. I have taught music theory for a little over 3 years, as well as tutoring at my own school. I have loved music as long as I can remember, and hopefully you will too after our lessons!

The way I teach is very individualized; content is selected by getting to know the student’s interests, and molding their lessons to get them to learn what they need, while also making them feel heard. Updates on progress are regularly sent so that the caregiver has an active role in their child’s lessons.
