About Cassidy
I am a senior at the College of Charleston and I graduate in May. I am originally from Connecticut, but I fell in love with the weather and the beach down south and I do not plan on ever moving back! I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching sports, exercising, baking, and exploring the city. I would never want to make learning boring because I have had my fair share of boring learning experiences, which it doesn't always have to be!

I would like to stick to tutoring younger kids, between 1st-8th grade, learning the basics of all aspects. I like to use the more hands-on approach when it comes to learning this subject and strengthening academic skills. I struggled with this subject when I was younger and figured out that sometimes it takes a little bit of a slower and more intricate approach to really nail it in your head. This would be my first time offering tutor lessons, so I would want to get to know the person I am tutoring in order to assess and understand their learning style before I created a typical lesson plan for a session. I want to make tutoring fun and exciting, instead of something the kids dread. Tutoring can tend to have a negative connotation attached to it which I want to get rid of, and I want your child to leave feeling refreshed and excited to learn!
