About Revathi
Senior Software Developer | 15+ Years of Industry Experience | Microsoft Azure Certified | MCA Gold Medallist
I'm a passionate software developer and mentor with over 15 years of professional experience in software engineering.
I have worked with leading international organisations, including Boeing, De Beers Group, Caterpillar and Volvo IT, developing and maintaining enterprise software applications.
My technical expertise includes C#, .NET, WPF, MVVM, SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ, REST APIs, JavaScript and Azure technologies.
Academic Background and Certifications
- Master's in Computer Applications (MCA) – Gold Medallist, Anna University.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics – 91%, Bharathiar University.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204).
- Microsoft Azure AI Cloud Developer certification (AI-200).
Teaching and Mentoring Experience
Teaching has been a long-standing passion of mine.
At Boeing, I designed and delivered a structured Java-to-C# developer training programme, helping professionals transition into C# development.
I developed training materials, conducted technical sessions, guided practical exercises, assessed a final programming project and provided ongoing mentoring through code reviews.
Throughout my career, I have also mentored junior developers, shared technical knowledge with colleagues and supported teams in improving coding standards and software quality.
What Makes My Lessons Different?
I combine academic knowledge with extensive real-world software development experience.
I don't just teach programming syntax. I help learners understand how software is designed, developed, tested and maintained in professional environments.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations, exercises and teaching pace to individual needs.
My aim is to make programming approachable, enjoyable and practical, while helping students develop the confidence to solve problems independently.

Learn Programming with a Senior Software Developer – From Your First Line of Code to Real-World Applications!
Whether you're a complete beginner, a university student, a graduate preparing for a software career, or a working developer looking to advance your skills, I offer personalised, practical programming lessons tailored to your goals.
With over 15 years of professional software development experience, I bring real industry knowledge into every lesson.
Subjects I Teach
- Programming Fundamentals: Variables, conditions, loops, functions, problem-solving, flowcharts and pseudocode.
- C# and .NET: Beginner to advanced C#, object-oriented programming, collections, LINQ, generics, delegates, events and asynchronous programming.
- Desktop Application Development: WPF, XAML, MVVM, data binding, commands and application architecture.
- Databases: SQL Server, SQL queries, Entity Framework and database connectivity.
- Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, REST APIs, JSON and web application fundamentals.
- Software Engineering: SOLID principles, design patterns, debugging, unit testing and clean coding practices.
- Interview Preparation: C#/.NET technical questions, object-oriented design, coding exercises and practical problem-solving.
My Teaching Methodology
My lessons focus on understanding, practising and applying programming concepts rather than memorising code.
I use a structured, student-centred approach:
1. Understand your current knowledge and learning objectives.
2. Explain concepts clearly using relatable examples.
3. Demonstrate programming techniques through live coding.
4. Guide you through practical exercises and mini-projects.
5. Review your code and provide constructive feedback.
6. Build a personalised learning roadmap to track progress.
Practical Learning
Depending on your level, you can work on projects such as a calculator, student management application, SQL-backed application or C# desktop application using WPF and MVVM.
Who Can Join?
My lessons are suitable for beginners, school and university students, adult learners, graduates, junior developers and experienced professionals.
Free Introductory Lesson
Our first session is an opportunity to discuss your goals, explore your current understanding and plan the most effective learning pathway.
My goal is to help you become a confident, independent programmer with skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Perfect! It was a great initial session with Revathi. I sought Revathis help to learn C# after initial introcudtuins and my poor handling of a Teams call we spoke about what my current skill levels were and went from there. I am doing project based learning with the Csharpacademy and did a walk through of one of my more recent projects. Amazing how little you know when you try to explain it to someone so Revathi was very patient in listening to me fumble my way through my code and understand what I was describing. After that we established what format our future lessons should be so I am very much looking forward to the next time we meet.
- It was a pleasure meeting Ian for our introductory C# programming session. He is an enthusiastic and motivated learner with a genuine interest in strengthening his programming skills.Revathi's response :
Ian already has good exposure to C# and related technologies through project-based learning. During our session, he openly discussed his learning goals, walked me through one of his existing projects, and showed a positive attitude towards feedback and improvement.
I particularly appreciated his willingness to identify areas where he would like to develop greater confidence and independence in coding.
I'm looking forward to supporting Ian on his learning journey through structured, practical sessions. I believe his curiosity, commitment and existing knowledge will provide a strong foundation for further progress.
