About Lyric
I've studied privately with jazz greats such as Sullivan Fortner, Gerald Cannon, Dan Wall, and many others. I've performed as a pianist across the US, and even internationally at the Panama Jazz Festival! The past two years, I've been employed by Oberlin Conservatory as a Secondary Lesson Teacher while still attending myself.

My teaching philosophy is centered around establishing trust and creating an atmosphere where students feel comfortable enough to express their artistic voices. That's what music is all about. Lesson plans are always catered to a student's personal goals and questions, and involve a lot more playing than lecturing.
Lessons are for all ages and skill levels, focused on jazz piano, theory, and arranging/composition.
