My Teaching Approach and Knowledge Sharing Philosophy
I approach teaching UX and Product Design as a mentor led, practice driven process, rooted in real industry expectations rather than surface level tool training. My goal is to help learners think, reason, and design like professional product designers working on complex systems.
Teaching Techniques and Methods
Learning by Doing
Every concept is taught through hands on exercises, real world scenarios, and live problem solving rather than passive lectures.
Systems Thinking First
I emphasize design logic, frameworks, and decision making before jumping into screens or tools.
Industry Contextual Teaching
Examples, assignments, and critiques are drawn from enterprise and B2B SaaS products, not hypothetical apps.
Guided Critique and Feedback
Regular, structured design critiques help students improve clarity, usability, and storytelling.
Mentor Style Coaching
Sessions are interactive and conversational, encouraging questions, exploration, and independent thinking.
Typical Class Structure
A standard session is structured to balance theory, application, and reflection.
Context Setting
Brief discussion of the problem, user, and business context.
Concept Deep Dive
Introduction of relevant UX principles, frameworks, or patterns.
Hands On Application
Live exercises, wireframing, prototyping, or case study work.
Design Review and Feedback
Detailed critique with actionable improvements.
Take Home Assignment
Practical tasks aligned with portfolio or career goals.
This structure ensures learners not only understand what to do, but why they are doing it.
What Sets Me Apart as a Teacher
Dual Perspective
I bring both academic rigor as an MIT ID Visiting Faculty and real world product experience.
Enterprise and B2B Focus
Rarely taught in bootcamps, yet critical for high impact design roles.
Career Oriented Mentorship
Support extends beyond skills. Portfolio building, case study narratives, and interview preparation are integral.
Personalized Learning Paths
Sessions are adapted based on the learner’s background, pace, and career objectives.
Depth Over Hype
I prioritize long term design thinking skills over short term tool trends.
Who These Classes Are For
My classes are best suited for college students aspiring to build a strong foundation in UX and Product Design, working professionals looking to transition into UX or product design roles, and early to mid level designers aiming to upskill in systems thinking, enterprise UX, or design systems.

The sessions we had with him very fun and filled with energy, loved the way he interacted with the class and the different archetypes of students. A good balance between being relatable and knowledgeable
Bibaswan is a great mentor to have in those day and age when everyone find shortcuts to solve an issue, he focuses on the why of it? Why the problem exists, why do we think the way we think , which basically teaches the core principles of UX. Apart from it he is having impressive experience in industry which helps us in understanding the day to day processes that is followed in corporate these days, overall a great holistic experience.
