About Emmie
I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working in a SEN school. I am currently completing my Level 3 SEN qualification and have a real passion for supporting children with their learning and development. I want to teach because I enjoy helping children overcome challenges, build their confidence and recognise their own abilities. I believe every child learns differently, so I aim to create a positive, supportive and enjoyable environment where children feel comfortable, encouraged and proud of their progress.

My lessons are friendly, supportive and personalised to each child’s individual needs. I offer online SEN learning support for children aged 5–11, including reading, phonics, English, maths and homework support. I adapt activities to each child’s learning style, interests and abilities, using fun and engaging activities to help build confidence as well as academic skills. Each session is structured at a comfortable pace, with plenty of encouragement and positive reinforcement. My aim is to create a safe, enjoyable learning environment where every child feels supported and able to succeed.
