About Seb
I am a solo artist and performer, performing regularly in Bristol and beyond. I have a passion for learning, and I love teaching because it keeps me humble and connected to my own improvement journey. It brings me joy to pass on tricks and techniques that have been taught to me in the past, and to see my students progress as a result, just as I myself did. I am queer and trans, and believe in making music as accessible and inclusive as possible.

My approach is very much tailored to what each individual student is hoping to achieve and get out of their instrument; whether that be gaining confidence in playing and improvising in live settings, improving speed and fluency, being able to learn songs by ear, or improve technique. Or maybe you are just getting started on your instrument and would like some guidance about where best to begin. I can help you with all of these things, by breaking it down into manageable chunks. My lessons are fun and high energy, I will always take things at my student’s pace and make the sessions as hands-on as possible. I incorporate jamming in the lessons a lot, as I believe that this is one of the most fun and effective ways of improving and gaining confidence. This is accompanied by technical exercises and learning specific techniques that will be useful to you along your journey.
