About Ashley
I graduated from Loughborough University with a BA in Illustration and Visual Communication and completed my PGCE at Kingston University in Surrey. I teach full time at a secondary school in Surrey and I spend some of my free time coaching a variety of sports including netball, rugby and athletics. I'm a compassionate and positive professional with a love for adaptive teaching, no matter the age.

During your first lesson we will define your learning goals and explore your needs and strengths. I will help you develop a closer connection with your theme or project by encouraging you to follow a structure that will enable you to become more independent. You will learn how to record ideas, use artists' research, develop your drawing and observational skills before honing in on other ways of working. In each hour you learn with me you will become more confident - expect to be encouraged and pushed!
