About Mai
Hi! I’m Mai, a second-year pharmacy student at UWA. I’m passionate about learning and sharing knowledge, which is why I love tutoring. I want to help students not only understand the subjects they’re learning but also develop confidence in their abilities. I’ve tutored high school students in math, science, English, and art, and I know how powerful it is to have someone who’s patient, approachable, and willing to explain things in ways that make sense. I want to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and truly engaging with the material. Qualifications and Experience: I am currently studying pharmacy in my second year at the University of Western Australia. In addition to my academic qualifications, I have experience tutoring high school students in subjects like math, science, English, and art. My background in both the sciences and humanities allows me to provide a well-rounded tutoring experience. I have a deep understanding of complex concepts and a strong ability to break them down into easy-to-understand explanations. Who Are My Lessons For: My lessons are primarily aimed at high school students (Years 7-12), though I am open to tutoring university-level students in subjects related to science and pharmacy.
