About Rebekah
I'm a music student who has been teaching for 4 years. Previous pupils have gone on to achieve both in grades, but also in community music groups: I've never had a student not get a distinction in ABRSM exams! Further to this, I've been volunteering within music groups for several years so have a good understanding of the boundaries to set within a teaching environment to keep everyone safe and comfortable, along with the pastoral care required to teach young people.

I give lessons to pupils ranging from three all the way up to adult, from absolute beginner level to Grade 6. I usually work through a technique book, while doing ABRSM work on the side, and also like to use theory in a practical manner, teaching chords, timings, compositional techniques and music structures. for me, however, the most important thing is the student is learning what they want to, so I am always happy to be led by a pupul in the area of music that interests them most, and help provide them with the information and skills to satisfy their curiosity.
