About Raphael
I'm a third-year BSc Politics and Economics student at the London School of Economics with a genuine passion for helping students build confidence in subjects that often feel intimidating. I know first-hand how the right explanation at the right moment can turn confusion into understanding, and I bring a calm, patient approach to every session. Whether a student is aiming for top grades or just trying to keep up, my goal is to make the material click and to make learning feel manageable rather than stressful.

My approach is calm, patient, and built around the student. I start by understanding where each person is and where they want to get to, then break difficult concepts down into clear, manageable steps. I believe questions are never silly, and I make a point of creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable admitting what they don't understand. Rather than just providing answers, I focus on building the underlying reasoning so students can tackle similar problems independently. I also use past papers and worked examples regularly, since practice and steady feedback are where real progress happens.
