About Anya
I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A level have been tutoring over my summer holidays. Maths and Further Maths have played a huge part in the first year of my engineering degree, so I feel they are the subjects I am best placed to tutor. I am an enthusiastic, out-going individual who has always been keen to get involved and take on any challenge thrown at me, and I feel this comes across in my resilient approach to both learning and teaching.

I believe it is important to see the real-world applications of the subjects you study, especially at A level, when they directly impact what you choose to study at university and beyond- which is why I find my engineering degree a perfect background for tutoring maths. Personally, I found A levels challenging, but there are a number of methods I learnt to overcome those difficulties which I still use when studying for exams today. With students, I try to cover the material as thoroughly as possible before attempting past paper questions, as I feel his gives them the most confidence when approaching difficult exam material.
