About Fatima
I am a qualified teacher with a B. Ed Honours degree. My teaching career expands over the past 14 years from South Africa to the UAE, where I have taught English, Maths and Science to primary school learners' for the past 5 years. My foundation as a teacher has made me an excellent writer, editor, Maths and Science tutor, and STEM revolutionist with a flair for creative Arts. I have a great command of the English language and my resilience, attention to detail, willingness to strive for perfection and learn new and creative ways of doing things , makes me a fine candidate for any future employer.

My teaching method is based on Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development which narrows the distance between learner's actual and potential development through adult intervention. I also use Vygotsky's advanced scaffolding method which focuses on creating learning experiences that are intriguing and merge it with the STEM ideology to incorporate design thinking, critical and creative thinking as well as collaboration and communication skills to enhance cognitive understanding of real-world problems and possible solutions to them.

Details
Cancellation Policy : Please call me personally or send me a WhatsApp message to cancel. Cancellation must be done 24 hours prior to the lesson. A cancellation fee of R 150 will be charged if the lesson has been cancelled within the 24 hour period. If the lesson is cancelled 12 hours or less prior to the lesson, a fee of R 200 will be charged.
There is no extra charge for learner's with learning difficulties but please note that these learners will require more lessons than other students as the pace and contents of the lessons will have to be changed according to learner needs.
