About Charolina
My fingers find the strings through years of pickin' parties and traditional tunes learned by ear in the hills of Appalachia. With a BFA in Music Performance, I offer a blend of electric and acoustic technique that bridges the gap between old-school feel and modern demands. I work with advanced learners and grade exam candidates who need to master power chords, scales, and complex chord transitions.
My 13 years of experience allow me to troubleshoot even the most stubborn lead guitar issues during our sessions. I enjoy seeing adult students realize their potential by refining their tuning and maintenance routines.
My background is rooted in the session-fluent playing of traditional music. I hold a clear vision for how your hands should move across the fretboard. You will find my teaching style direct, calm, and focused on building a solid, reliable foundation.

Sitting down for a session starts with a thorough diagnostic skills check to identify exactly where your technique needs refinement. I build your lesson plan based on what you actually need to play better today.
We might spend our time perfecting barre chords or dialing in your electric tone for a specific performance. It feels like a genuine conversation about music where you get to ask as many questions as necessary.
