About Carla
Hi! I’m a native French speaker currently studying at university level. Alongside my studies, I’ve been supporting students for several years, helping them build confidence and improve their academic skills.
Teaching has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I love seeing students go from feeling stuck or unsure to feeling capable and proud of their progress. I believe patience, clarity and encouragement make a real difference.
Now that I’m based in New Zealand, I’d love to continue supporting students here. Whether you’re learning French for school, travel or personal interest, I’m here to help you feel more comfortable and confident with the language.

My lessons are fully personalised and adapted to your level, goals and pace. Whether you need help with grammar, essay writing, oral expression or simply want to improve your conversational French, I tailor each session to your specific needs.
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes. We usually start with a short review, then focus on one or two clear objectives (grammar point, writing structure, pronunciation, vocabulary building, etc.), followed by practical exercises and real application.
I place strong emphasis on clarity and method. My goal is not only to help you understand French, but to help you feel confident using it!
I work with teenagers, university students and adults. I can also provide support for students interested in understanding the French education system or preparing for studies in France.
