About Megan
I am a fourth-year student studying honours life sciences at McMaster University, and I have taken courses not only in the sciences, but also in philosophy, music, and history. At McMaster, I've been involved in various activities including doing research in a stroke rehabilitation lab, participating in brain cancer research competitions, and acting as one of the lead cast members of the McMaster Science Musical. Outside of academics, I compose music using various instruments including the guitar and piano. I also love anime, hiking, reading and going cross country skiing.

I am all about bridging between disciplines when it comes to teaching the sciences. I want to help students draw connections between the sciences to help them deepen their understanding of subject matter and to help them be prepared for a university setting. I am highly adaptable, which allows me to work with students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. My previous experience working in a setting with students with special needs helps me cater lesson plans depending on the goals of the student, and the guardian(s).
