About Ayesha
My name is Ms. Ayesha and I have been teaching in Malaysia for the past 6+ years. I have taught students from the ages of 6-16, and work to tailor my lessons to the abilities and needs of my students. Many of my students have learning challenges and I modify my classes to make sure they aren't left behind. In addition to just covering subject matter, I also believe in providing students the tools to become life-long learners, by training them to use self-management skills to enhance their learning journey.

I have many years of teaching experience, online & face-to-face, teaching various curricula, but specializing in IGCSE Science. I prioritize helping my students truly understand the material, make connections to real-world examples and not have to rely on memorizing facts and figures. Lessons are typically 1-1.5 hours long and include review, pop quizzes and homework support for those who need them. I have a Bachelor's in Science, PGDT in teaching and many years of experience teaching both Malaysian and non-Malaysian students. This class is suitable for ages 8-18, for those who need extra support with school, as well as those homeschooling.

Ayesha is an educator with incredible passion for learning success. Besides her mastery of the subject matter, she is armed with sound pedagogy and finesse crucial in fostering trust, overcoming frustration points, and establishing student agency in their work. She makes sure to honour each student’s whole self in the learning process, so that their needs are given the appropriate attention and they are effectively driven to reach their goals.
Ayesha is a wonderfully patient tutor and helped my 8 year old daughter with her reading and executive functioning skills. She is very creative with her teaching methods and encourages problem-solving skills. I highly recommend her!
