Instrument learning and theory go together. One complements the other.
Reading, musical repertoire and improvisation make classes interesting and develop students' musicality. I have many playbacks and play alongs where we can exercise during class and as a daily study during the week.

I have been teaching private lessons for more than 10 years for beginners and advanced. My musical base comes from the CLAM school (founded by the Zimbo trio) where I acquired vast knowledge and repertoire of Brazilian music and jazz. I graduated from Souza Lima / Berklee College where I was able to complement and improve myself as a musician and saxophonist. I teach saxophone and transverse flute (they are my work instruments) and everything that includes musical learning. In addition, I play the piano, which helps in teaching harmony, composition and music theory.
