Lessons typically involve: -------------------------------- -Explaining SAP architecture: clients, servers, modules, databases, and workflows -Using analogies to clarify concepts like transports, RFCs, and data dictionary elements -Live coding in ABAP (e.g., reports, forms, enhancements) and UI5/Fiori projects -Debugging common issues in SAP GUI and Eclipse environments -Assigning guided exercises to reinforce learning in backend and front-end SAP components A Typical SAP Lesson Plan: -------------------------------- -Foundation check / recap (e.g., what is a client, what is a transaction code) -Concept introduction: e.g., ABAP Data Dictionary, OData service call, or Fiori app flow -Hands-on session: live development of a use case (e.g., creating a custom report or extending a standard Fiori app) -Discussion of real-world application: how it fits into SAP project delivery -Wrap-up: Q&A, best practices, and optional practice task I also teach the big-picture view — how different SAP modules interact, what role BASIS, functional consultants, and developers play, and how custom code fits into overall SAP landscapes.
