  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

Sanskrit is a beautiful and ancient language. It holds a lot of knowledge — from stories and poems to science and philosophy. I first got interested in Sanskrit when I was in school. I loved the way the language sounded and the deep meanings in the shlokas and texts.

Teaching became my passion when I realized how happy it makes me to share this knowledge with others. I enjoy helping students understand the subject and watching them become curious and confident.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

My biggest motivation is my **father**. He always respected education and taught me that teaching is a noble job. He believed that a teacher doesn’t just give lessons but also helps build good people. His values and guidance inspired me to follow this path.
  • How does your work help society?

By teaching Sanskrit, I help students learn about our rich Indian culture and heritage. They understand our roots better and become proud of them.

Also, teaching helps shape responsible, kind, and smart young people. If every student becomes a good human being, society becomes better too.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

My role model is my **school principal**. The way they stayed calm, honest, and fair in every situation really inspired me. They handled problems with patience and always made thoughtful decisions. I try to follow the same in my teaching — staying calm, being honest, and doing the right thing.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing **chess** and **table tennis (TT)**. Chess helps me think clearly and make smart decisions. Table tennis keeps me active and refreshed. Both games are also great ways to connect with students and friends.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

Yes! Once, a student who found Sanskrit very difficult told me, *"I used to think I can never learn this, but now it’s my favorite subject!"*

We had worked together step by step, using simple stories and fun activities. That moment made me feel proud and reminded me why I love teaching — to help students believe in themselves.
