About Sapta
I started learning and performing at the tender age of 6, learned under various Gurus in the last 30 years, and have been teaching students from the age of 10. I worked with prestigious music academies and schools in Mumbai and Bangalore, currently hundreds of students are learning under me. I teach Hindustani Classical vocal up till Sangeet Alankar of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, and teach bhajans and Bollywood singing.

In one-to-one class I understand the student first, build good rapport and add different elements of music and life to make it interesting and easy to perceive. In group classes, I give personal attention to each one, we go slow, number of repetitions in class so that students have less burden to practice alone at home.
