About Naomi
My name is Naomi, I'm 30 and French. I was born in Rouen, which is in Normandy and, I think, one of the prettiest places on Earth.
I was an English teacher in France for seven years and decided to take my chance in my favourite country, the UK. I now live in Leeds.
I love books, bookshops, libraries, writing, but also cinema, Harry Potter, museums, the Brontës, jokes, theatre, travelling, tea, cappuccino, dresses and summer heat (yes, I still moved to Yorkshire anyway).
I believe I am patient, encouraging and don't judge anyone. I want all my students to feel at ease.

I'm a native speaker and if your pronunciation in French displeases you, I'd be happy to work on your accent with you. I promise I'll soften my Norman accent for you.
I suggest one-hour lessons, unless you require differently, in the cosy and quiet environment that Leeds Central Library is. You're free to bring your thermos of tea or coffee, I might do it myself! Of course, if you have any other place in mind, feel free to let me know.
I was an English teacher in France for seven years and am used to teach all types of students, from 11 to 20 years old, with very different levels in foreign languages. I have a Master's Degree in English and teaching of English, so I'm pretty confident I am fluent in Shakespeare's language: if equivalents and translation make your learning easier, no problem.
I'm happy to offer French lessons to students (as support for school, exams, etc) and anyone who desires to learn or improve their French, even through everyday conversations.
As my experience as a teacher has shown me, I think it can be good to work on listening, reading, speaking as well as writing skills, if you really want/need to make the best of your learning. I love culture: discussing a French film, book, place..., listening, reading and writing about it would be a delight.
Also, I am not scared of thick English accents so please fret not yourself ;)
